Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC)

Today’s insurance and risk management industry is big, complex, and full of variation. As you consider what kind of coverage you need for your unique set of risks and exposures—both current and future—my training as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) has prepared me to be the competent and proven advisor you need. Training to become a CIC includes 100 classroom hours and five comprehensive exams. In addition, I attend continuing education courses every year to update my knowledge and skills, to ensure that you always receive from me the attention, care, and current information necessary to make your coverage decisions.

The CIC designation and pin are marks of distinction that demonstrate my commitment to professional excellence and leadership in the insurance industry. I am proud to be among 31,500 CICs in the country–the best and most knowledgeable insurance practitioners in the nation.

Certified Risk Manager (CRM)

Today’s risk management industry is big, complex, and full of variation. Each of us has a unique profile of risks and exposures. As you look at options to meet your present and future needs, the steady assistance of a competent and proven advisor is required.

Certified Risk Managers (CRM) is a nationally recognized designation — a visible symbol of technical knowledge, educational commitment, and ongoing professionalism. To become a CRM, I completed 100 education hours. Five advanced courses, covering all aspects of risk management, and I passed five rigorous examinations. To uphold the designation, I meet an annual continuing education obligation that distinguishes this designation program from other risk management training. CRM is my career-long commitment which makes me better able to serve your unique needs.

The Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS)

CRIS is a specialized curriculum focusing on the insurance and risk management needs of construction projects and contractors. Those who complete the program are entitled to display the CRIS certification to certify their knowledge of construction insurance and risk management and dedication to the industry.

The Certified Professional In Insurance (CPII)

CPII is an advanced designation program consisting of five modules – Property, Liability, Residential Risk, Automobile, and Specialty Lines. and/or Intermediate Level Property & Casualty continuing education class (7 hour CE credit each of them). This designation provides a link between exclusions or limitations and the endorsements necessary to cover the risk.

The designation is designed to provide the insurance professional with the tools and knowledge necessary to analyze the risk and determine what is endorsements are needed as a solution to any coverage gaps.
